NaPoWriMo day 3 – April 3, 2020

Hello on Friday, day 3 of NaPoWriMo.  The prompt today asked us to use a rhyming dictionary, like RhymeZone.com.  If you haven’t tried it, give it a chance.  They can be a lot of fun.  So armed with my starter words, and inspiration from RhymeZone, I give you this:

                                                            Construction

Today the construction

    To keep up production

       Requires introduction

          Of pouring concrete

             To make it complete

               They needed a fleet

                  Of concrete mixers

                     To stir the elixirs

                        They use for fixers

                          Standing on a plank

                           They handle the tank

                           By way of a crank

                        The tank must rotate

                      So contents agitate

                   And consistently hydrate

                That’s when a pumper

             Set by the bumper

          Begins the dumper

        Crews with the truck

      Monitor the suck

   To control the muck

The flowing aggregation

                                        Pours on to the formation

                                                                                    And becomes the foundation.
